Want to know the difference between "Spearhead", "Cull their ranks", "Eliminate leaders"? Me too. Any action involving crew combat is obscure in description. During comitatus battles you get to choose actions. Garrik might be at 1/15 vitality, or 14/15 - you can only guess. But if you want to know just how wounded they are? Sorry, pal. You can also see who is wounded and who's not. Any situation where you need to choose your companions, you have a screen with all your companions and a number of how many of them you can take along. In Vagrus, the UI looks fancy, but it fails to deliver. However, such players naturally require a responsive user interface - one that provides all the information they need, no matter how convoluted it turns out to be. Players who don't back off from a challenge and enjoy a good read. I respect this game being designed as unforgiving, aimed for the thoughtful audience. Vagrus has been an enjoyable experience despite occasional inconviniences. Where you could take a number of companions and play against randomly generated caravan people (your comitatus) with no risk of wounds and consequences. I remember in Banner Saga, another game with similiar mechanics, you had an option for training sessions during camping. How am I supposed to tell if I can use, say, Chain Lightning from the front row or from the back row? Or both? And how many Power does it cost? Look at the screenshot in the game's store page: What I'm trying to say is it's not informative in the slightest when it comes to combat skills. I do have companions and a trinket in question, just not the option to equip it.
